Extends the hive-metastore connector to support direct Thrift API access via a new connection_type: thrift configuration option. This enables metadata extraction from Hive Metastore with Kerberos/SASL authentication, addressing enterprise environments where direct database access is unavailable but Thrift API access (port 9083) with Kerberos authentication is possible.
